Important Info

Consider this your wedding day cheat sheet! You'll find everything from RSVP details to where we'll be celebrating after the ceremony.

You should have received a text message invitation with RSVP instructions. Please submit your RSVP by August 1, 2026, and let us know whether you plan to join us for dinner following the ceremony. If you did not receive your invitation, please contact Kendall or Blake as soon as possible.

Our ceremony will take place in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Approximately one month before the wedding, we will update this page with a GPS pin and exact location details. Until then, the ceremony location will be somewhere along the Foothills Parkway near Wears Valley or Townsend. If you are booking lodging in Gatlinburg, you will be within a reasonable driving distance of the ceremony site.

Guests are responsible for arranging their own accommodations.

There are many cabin rentals, vacation homes, hotels, and Airbnb options near Gatlinburg. We recommend booking early, because September is the beginning of peak season.

Mountain Cocktail Attire

For Women

  • Cocktail dresses

  • Dressy jumpsuits

  • Dressy separates

  • Block heels, wedges, dressy boots or flats

  • Stilettos are not recommended since the venue is outdoors

 

For Men

  • Trousers, khakis, or dress slacks

  • Collared shirts

  • Jackets and ties are optional

Please avoid: white and denim

The ceremony site is only a short walk from the car, but it is outdoors. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes that are easy to walk and stand in the grass.

We will be taking group photos.

If you plan to park within Great Smoky Mountains National Park, you will need a National Park parking pass.

We may also organize optional carpool meet-up locations closer to the wedding date.

Due to National Park regulations, we are only permitted to have six chairs at the ceremony site.

The ceremony itself will be brief (approximately 10 minutes) and most guests should plan to stand during the service.

Following the ceremony, we will be taking family photos, friend photos, and several group photos. Additional details will be shared as the wedding date approaches.

We will gather for dinner following the ceremony at Bella in Maryville.

Dinner will be held from approximately 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM and will be about a 30-minute drive from the ceremony location.

Please indicate on your RSVP whether you plan to attend dinner so we can finalize reservations.

Gift Registries

Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for, and we kindly request that no gifts be  brought to Tennessee.

 

A formal reception will be held in Indy in early 2027. For those who wish to give a gift, we  would be honored to receive it at that time.
